Richmond County Pharmacy Program

Working to improve the health of Richmond County

The Richmond County Health Foundation established the Richmond County Pharmacy Program in March 2001.  During the first 4 1/2 years of service, the program helped more than 500 senior citizens (65 or older) by providing more than $2,300.00 in medications.  Currently, the Pharmacy Program is funded by a grant from the NC Department of Rural Health and Community Care.  Donations are always appreciated by anyone who would like to assist our elderly or uninsured citizens of Richmond County.

To qualify you must:

  • LIve in Richmond County
  • Be a US citizen
    •  (non-US citizens are still eligible for certain medications)
  • Be 35 years or older (unless a patient at Richmond County Community Care Clinic)
